What makes you smile?

I would LOVE to read about what makes you smile.

At a push you can share what makes you laugh too!

Whatever circumstances have brought you to BB, many of us are dealing with MH concerns.
Sharing our healing journeys can be so amazingly helpful to others, it's priceless.

Yesterday I felt JOY for the first time in a long long time. It happened while watching my grandchildren make huge bubbles at an Art Installation. Joy felt good but quite alien tbh.
Today one of my children said she belly laughed for the first time in maybe a year, a funny thing happened at work.

Depression, as with other MI's, sucks the joy out of us. Our goal could be to quieten these invaders by filling our lives with more joy.

Please share what makes you smile.

Love to you
EM

What made me smile today, and rather a BIT excited, was to see so much of our favourite foods on special in the supermarket today. YUM.

Hi All special lovers,

I absolutely love specials and recently got 2 legs of lamb for $10.20 and chicken thigh fillets for $2.60 X3, also cauliflower (my favourite food, always has been raw or cooked) for $3 a each and broccoli for $3/kg. After they've been over $10 was a treat for me. Oh and mandarins $1.47 for 2kg.

Was needed after being told that when I fell I badly damaged my right shoulder!

Wow Alison_M, those specials were AMAZING!

Getting the best prices is easier if we know what seasons our food is harvested in.

Sorry you've injured your shoulder with that fall, ugh! Have you seen a Dr about it? Hopefully it mends well. Hugs with only your left shoulder, gently!

This morning the lively, chirping sounds of so many birds outside woke me up very early and also made me smile. 😁

Have a great day everyone

Alison_M,

What fantastic specials! And I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder, wishing you a speedy recovery.

EM,

I love hearing birds chirping during the day, or the sound of kookaburras is always refreshing to hear too.

Today, I went for a walk with Mum which made me smile. 🙂

Cute and funny animal pictures and clips make me smile, ones where animals and people are not hurt but are found in comical situations.

Seeing a rainbow recently made me smile.

Sweet things that made you smile sbella and Dools. 😀

sbella my daughter went exploring today and found an 80yo man working away in a clearing as he's been doing for decades there. He was SO knowledgeable and shared this with my d. He invited her to bring her family but to NOT publicise this space lol. He was like Merlin, she said, waving his magic gardening tools.
We hope to visit this weekend.

Dools, I love those too. Animals are SO cute!
Speaking of whom...

My rescue poodle makes me smile when he uses all gentle the ways he can to get our attention.
Too cute.

Thank you all for wishes on a speedy recovery but I finally had an ultrasound and got my results yesterday and found out it's only going to get worse. As I have tendonitis, bursitis and arthritis in it now but the fall has caused it all to flare up and I need a MRI and see a specialist to see how bad the damage. The fall was due to uneven tiles in the kitchen, which the owner of the place promised to fix when we moved in almost 3 years ago, so I asked him for his insurance information, as it's going to cost me around $1000. Now he has kicked us out, luckily he was meant to be a friend for years before we moved in!

Still no information and now no home either.

Alison that's terrible news!

I'm sorry about the health diagnoses, that's bad enough isn't it?

Can you phone the Tenant's Association and ask them about being evicted?
I'm not sure if this eviction is lawful.

Prayers for your health and home!
