Hi all,
Welcome to new posters and those who haven't popped in for a while, good to see you taking care of yourselves. EM, love that focus on your boundaries.
My self-cares:
1) Stood outside with my coffee. Pretty filthy weather today, but it still felt better to see the birds and the trees than be locked away inside all day.
2) Shortened my to-do list to just a couple of things today, to keep it manageable. LM encouraged me to do this, I'm glad I listened.
3) Asked LM to check on me periodically while we're doing our own thing for a while, to make sure I haven't gotten sidetracked with jobs or stressful things that can wait. This is a real ongoing problem with me, I'm bad at settling in to relax.

Hello Willow Jude! So nice to see in many corners of the forum!
Thankyou for posting your self-care. Sounds great that you're accessing some mental health treatment. Wishing you all the very best in accessing this and during your treatment too. I'm thinking you'll be posting even more during this time.
Focusing on mental HEALTH and healing is empowering, scary at times but so worthwhile having this goal.
I hope we all get to "see" you here more often lol.

Hey Blue, thankyou. Setting boundaries is still a relatively new concept for me, ie the last couple of years.
I guess that's a FOO issue but hey... throw it on the pile.
I'm fortunate to have discovered this about myself and as always, extremely fortunate to have had your support for so long in SO many ways!
It's wonderful being able to share our journeys all together.

My 3 self cares today:
~ went to work lol
~ ate some yummy afternoon tea at our late meeting
~ persisted with figuring out a technology issue I had and it worked.

Busy day today and busy night tonight, so my self cares today are:
~ Making a huge dinner for my family
~ Choosing healthy food to cook
~ Keeping to a tight schedule and have achieved more than I planned lol, that's always great!

Today my 3 self cares have been:
~ using a different Micellar water as cleanser, it's ok but I like my previous one better,
~ packing on the moisturiser, drying winds out there,
~ having a long nap straight after work because I could!
