Selfcare

Looking at positives people say

got back into my routine

enjoyed sun

Self care today so far:

- Guided meditation

- Drinking water regularly

- Treated myself to a cafe breakfast

Self-care is so important, I love this thread!

My self-care that I engaged in today were:

1. Skincare routine: My skincare routine is my favourite part of my morning routine, it never feels like a chore because I find it so calming

2. Ticking off my work to-do list: I find so much peace in just getting through my to-do lists and feel so happy with myself afterwards. It's one less thing I have to think about

3. Talked to a friend:My friend is so empowering and uplifting. I chatted to her about a new, fun opportunity that had come up and it was so nice sharing this news with her

Even if it's something small throughout the day, always take a moment to listen to yourself and what you need.

Selfcare

I worked hard where I.volunteer and it was a good distraction.
I decided not to take personally something I overheard

i am using word games to help me focus and stop worrying

1. went for a walk with the dog

3. cancelled a dinner date i wasn't up for

Today was a very challenging day. I did other things as well but these three were the most important.

Recently it has probably been incredibly challenging but I have found that I have implemented a lot of self-care so I see that as a lot of growth!

1) Making sure to go out -> just feeling the sun on my skin really helps to lift my mood

2) Playing video games -> this has been such a comfort to me, a mindful activity and also helps to centre myself again

3) Drinking tea! I find this to be very comforting like a warm blanket

Swam laps at the local pool

Used a new shampoo on my hair

Ate a comforting meal

Got myself a French croissant from my favourite cafe.

Palyed and laughed with one of my kids.

Cuddled my dog.
