JUICING for mental health

I've recently bought a juicer and have been making fruit/veg juices and have noticed it making a difference to my mental health. I'm clearer, more energized and I just know I'm giving my body many health benefits by drinking pure extracted fruits and vegetables. I thought I'd start this thread for us juicers or wannabe juicers to share juicing recipes. It's become my new "thing".

Omg my chickens are loving their Aunty monkey lol!
They LOVE the bits out of the juicer.
Making a juice every day or 2 atm.
I checked out what's growing in the Community Garden just a short walk from my home and there are STACKS of LIMES! So when my tree is empty, I'm heading down there.
LOVE CITRUS.
There was so much more too... might take my secateurs down there on the weekend.
PLEASE see what's growing in your Community Garden.... it's all there for you too!
The more we eat from them, the more they grow for us.
Going great monkey!!
Love EM

Just briefly because I need to sleep.
Hi all🙋♀️ Keep going MM
For the last few days I have been drinking a smoothie every day that has spinach or cos lettuce, banana, dates, cacao, soy milk, vanilla, and coconut water.
And juicing. Today I made a pure watermelon juice. I have never had one. Very yummy. The other days I have made carrot, cucumber, turmeric, ginger and apple. And cucumber, spinach, lime and kwi fruit on the other day.

How nourishing. Did u feel good afterwards?
And, did the juices taste ok?
I've added lettuce before but didn't like the taste so been sticking to baby spinach.
Watermelon juice would have to be one of my favourites. Brings back childhood memories bcas my mum used to make it for us as children.
We've had a lot of ripe plums at home so I juiced them with some apples. Had to catch the juice in a bowl while I de-seeded them, it was spilling out.

- 3 cups pineapple
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 banana
- 1 cup almond milk
I would freeze the pineapple and banana beforehand so it's thick and cold which is my preference.

That smoothie does sound yummy. I would use frozen banana and frozen pineapple as well.
Your Question... Yeah I did feel good. I felt nourished. As to the lettuce, it can taste a bit bitter. But I think as time goes on and the more your eat fruit and vegetables and less crap, your taste buds change. This is what I experienced.
I juiced purple cabbage along with carrots and some other fruit and veg, I cannot remember which. Perhaps beetroot. Anyway I used properly around a cup of the cabbage. I could not even taste it in there. And it was a good way for me to consume crusiferous (spelling?) vegetables whitch are so healthy for us.
