Does what I eat affect depression?

Hi Just wanting to know if anyone has experienced changes in behaviours, moods and their emotions depending on what they do or do not eat. Because I am very convinced that for me, consuming refined sugar, the ingredient you find in a lot of processed foods makes my emotions all over the place. And when I choose to eat mainly whole natural foods, I am so so much calmer, happier and my brain is no longer foggy or heavy.Just want to know what others think. Thanks heaps.

Oh my gosh, I can't even do push ups, I have tried before, but it is like my arms are unable to take the weight or something......

I have frozen bananas before, they freeze quite well. They are good to use in smoothies. Yeah, I have seen ice cream recipes that are banana based as well, I haven't tried any though. Actually we have a ice cream maker, which is in the back of one  of the cupboards.

Do you own a blender? I am trying to save up for one of those vitamix blenders, which are quite powerful.

I was wondering if you have come across the new coconut yoghurt, that is sold in Woolworths. It is a little more expensive. The brand is "nudie", anyway the vanilla one is pretty yummy. I am sure it would be allowed on the Paleo diet. The vanilla one does not contain refined sugar.I will probably eat some soon, with cut up strawberries.

Well hope you are having a great day today, oh! you are mostly still asleep.

Hugs Stef

Been driving to McDonald's over the last 3-4 days, and buying those cold ice coffee frappe drinks. Even as I am writing this, I feel like drinking one. Anyway I have definitely noticed a change for the worse in my emotions.

Hey how are you Shelley. Sorry I haven't been online recently, iv'e been hitting all my vices so didn't have much positive to say. I probably tried to change too many things at once. They say it takes around a month to establish a new habit so maybe one at a time is best.

I hope you pick up with how you are feeling. It's Christmas soon, a time to appreciate with family. I'm traveling interstate to see mine and will probally take a few days off to make a nice break to recharge and refocus on some goals.
