This is pretty admirable that you moved from your place to help out your daughter. The beginnings are always difficult. Everything feels so new and foreign.
Do you use any communication apps? So you could stay in touch with your old friends.
Maybe you could travel and visit them every now and then.
How would you feel about meeting new friends through your grandchildren? This is usually a good way of getting to know new people.
