Job, Living, and Relationship Struggle

I am 31, I am working two jobs but earning nothing, I graduated from uni last year, I can't find a full time job. I'm with my first boyfriend and I think I need to break up with him but I just moved in to his mum's house out of necessity (my parents went travelling so I couldn't stay with them, I was staying with my sister but now she's pregnant so they asked me to leave). I dont like either of my jobs, but I'm not earning enough to leave either of them. I need to break up with my boyfriend but I literally have nowhere to go and don't earn enough to rent somewhere on my own, I don't know what to do and I'm perpetually stressed out.

Hi there,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your post. I can understand your stress given you have a lot on your plate right now. You mentioned needing to break up with your boyfriend and didn't mention a reason so I was just curious if you're ok? I'm also wondering if perhaps you know someone like a friend who is renting who you may be able to live with? Or maybe you could find a share house online or social housing? I guess you need to get the living situation sorted and then hopefully it'll be easier to part ways with your boyfriend once that stressor is sorted.

I hope this is helpful and that your living and job situation improves soon. Wishing you all the best with everything and feel free to update us here on the forums.

Kind regards,

Hey! I’m currently in that same situation about having nowhere to live. I’ve spent nights in my car and have kept my gym membership purely for the purpose of having a bathroom I can use at any time.

I have found decent house shares on flatmates . Com. It’s really handy, most places are pretty cheap, and it might make you feel a bit more confident in making the decision to leave someone that you don’t want to be with.

Keeo in touch, it would be great to get an update on your situation.
