He has gone to jail

Hi after a very long 15 months he has gone to jail. It's been 2 weeks and I have good and bad days. When I was feeling good and thought I could do this the bank has said they are closing our account. Is this because he is in jail?

Hi, welcome

No, his jailing has zero to do with the bank.

Ok, I'm 68yo and 47 years ago, a long time, I began working at a major jail, maximum security in Victoria. I was there 3 years. I learned a lot. The inmates have a routine forced upon them, when to wake up, have meals, exercise and lock up. It never changes. That routine can actually help them do their time as socialising is for only 6 hours a day. So most of their time is in a cell alone or with another inmate. They are cared for as their health is monitored. Even their mail is read so guards know if there is bad news coming their way which can upset the harmony of the area when and if they get upset.

Nevertheless they receive mail and you can write every day. That would certainly give him some enjoyment and he's likely to read letters several times and dream of what you both can do upon his release. Therefore letters of some dream you have like a change of lifestyle, environment and future planning could set his mind for his release. Time would be easier to serve.

Visit your bank and ask them why your account has issues.
