I feel you. Always been the same for me. Are you able to look at meetup groups that have hobbies you like?

Hi there,
I completely understand this feeling when having moved to a new place. I have been in the same position and it can feel very isolating. One thing I tried which I found helped was doing activities/hobbies that were not based around conversation. It takes the focus of yourself and the other person, and directs it to a common goal. This could help build bonds more easily and then once some level of connection has been established it becomes easier for a friendship to develop.
I hope this helps! Friendships are difficult especially the older you get, but there are people out there who you will connect with, you just have to continue to be open and not give up.
