I don't really know how this website works but anyways.
I've been struggling with family issues, specifically my ''mother'' and I don't know how to really deal with it anymore. I'm struggling so so much and I've been getting treated really badly by her for many many years.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to help with emotional manipulation and etc, it would help a lot!!

Hi, welcome
I'll try however "manipulation " is the only information I have to go on.
I'm very experienced with most of the females in my family using manipulation that resulted in breaking all contact. But sadly its their nature and a scorpion can guarantee he won't sting a frog... but he still will.
Manipulation can also include embellishing conversations, triangulation using a 3rd person as a weapon, emotional blackmail etc
I'd like you to google
Queen hermit waif witch
Have a read of various internet summaries of Dr Christine Lawsons book "walking on eggshells"
I'll be interested if some traits are relevant.
Im here daily

Hi there,
Welcome to the forums! It’s an anonymous place to chat. You’ll get lots of different perspectives here I’m sure.
I think it would be most beneficial if you gave us more info about what is going on exactly. But judging by the word ‘emotional manipulation’, I assume you mean gaslighting, silent treatment, not taking accountability for her actions, etc. Does this sound right?
Don’t be shy to keep reaching out, we’re here for you 🙂
