Tired

I’m tired of a lot of things, of doing this thing called life alone. I chose not to have children after living a traumatic childhood till I was 13 and placed in stare care. I never experienced love from my family or my past boyfriends. I have spent my entire life feeling never good enough for people, in the last fifteen years after I left a relationship I have felt more distant then ever. I worked as much as possible so I was either tired and didn’t think about the loneliness. I lot a few contracts and started baking, giving the food away when I could afford to do so. I’ve rented for the last 15 years and have had to do one bad move which was very hard on me giving away a beautiful harden and accessories to people I thought were friends but users in the end as I only live 30kns away and they choose to have nothing to do with me. I only work one day now and am struggling with filling in time, I do exercise every day for an hour, but there’s still over 13 hours to fill in. As i live in Victoria near NSW I’m stuck because of the coronavirus in Melbourne and not allowed out of my state though my area hadn’t had any cases for 90 days.

Tired of making friends to be let down by then, one life friend said speak to the psychologist, so I speak once every 6 weeks. I really don’t see much point continuing my life, there’s only so much one can take and I feel like ending my life especially iff I cannot go to Queensland in December for Christmas which I have not had Christmas for over 35 years with anyone. I do not take drugs or drink alcohol, just extremely overtired of my living.

I'm really happy you enjoyed the service. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I have European heritage myself although have never visited nor do I speak the language of the country where my family originates from. But I love the food and the culture.
Does the church have any other events?
I'm going to something tomorrow evening to try out a bit of culture.... i'm not sure who i'll meet there. That's nice that the women were wearing dresses. It must've been very beautiful and traditional. Good for u for going.

Hi Delectable (Hi, Sleepy!)

The public dental system will only bump you up the wait list if you have pain or a broken tooth - if you can manage to tell them you have a chipped tooth or a filling that has fallen out so the sharp part of the tooth is hurting your tongue, they will put you up top of the wait list and get you seen pretty fast. It seems to be important to tell them it's making your tongue bleed ... then they will do something. I know the system is hopeless. I think plenty of people say this is happening so they can get seen and at least get a filling done. It's worth knowing you need to say this. Worth a try, it usually works.

Eye specialists cost me a fortune I have to save for months. I don't think there is any assistance for people with glasses. I agree Delectable it's letting people down badly. Wish I could suggest more.

Sleepy, interesting how you found America. I think we are heading that way unfortunately. Are you moving from your unit? That's a shame.

Thank you, they know the state of my teeth as two are chipped, living on the border of nsw/Vic doesn’t really help either as the Vic service is co owned with the NSW one. I went to the women’s group and she wanted me to go to one in Melbourne which is totally unaffordable for me, I probably should have done a lot of things different when I was younger, and I should have seeked help sooner, I was so glad to get out of the csv system I never asked for help for ages.

Wherabouts in America did you live Sleepy? May I ask your heritage?

Hey Delectable if it's okay I don't want to reveal specifically where I lived in America.
I am Slovakian from one of my parents 🙂

I understand states in America are different - some have better/worse minimum wages... maybe some are more habitable than others.
I lived there many years ago when Bush was president! I picked up a bit of an American accent. I liked to travel around the States and see different places. I also went to Canada for holidays.
I visited New york and saw a broadway show too 🙂 Lots of fun. It is a nice place to drive accross although it is expensive with the Australian dollar. When I livd there the Australian dollar was much better than now.

What a beautiful part of the world your heritage is from? I’ve had Bratislava on my list of places to see, you’re surrounded by Ukraine, and Poland, Hungary all on my list to see.
Which are your favourite Slovakian foods?

Hi Delectable- my family was influenced by cooking from all the plcaes you listed - ukraine, hungary, poland

I love Pierogis , Slovenske palacinky, and some very sweet pastries made by my family.

I’d be most interested in the sweet pastries names from your country if you would like to share as I like to cook European traditional foods only Sleepy.

Hi Delectable - I cannot remember what my grandmother called them - although they had a special name. They are I think hungarian perhaps, but a lot of people have their own version of them - polish, ukranian.
I saw CHRUSCIKI online which looked very similar.

Csöröge Fánk - i have seen them called this in Hungarian.

I can't ask my grandmother because I don't speak to my family due to abuse, but both those look simliar to what my grandmother made. You can get them in European bakeries. They seem to have different versions. My grandmother's were so thin, crisp and unhealthy, they were yum to bite into.

I know u love European culture.
