Hello and welcome.
With friends, are you a person who is sceptical about others and their motives? I only ask this because this is how I operate. With trust, the other was is trust the other til that is broken.
I am not sure if PTSD has a part to play here.
I am sure though that you are looking after your child, love them. From my own experience anxiety, stress, and depression smothers any good we do. In this area my psychologist has shared some ideas for me that I can pass on if you are interested.
Of course, please tell me if I am wrong and regardless I am listening and if you want to chat some more...

welcome Kat040187
I'm sorry that things are not going easy at the moment, as we age, it could actually be quite difficult to find sincere friends. Adults think a lot of things and are reluctant to make and trust friends as we did as kids.
I'm not a parent but I heard that many parents feel they didn't do enough for their kids. Don't be too hard on yourself 🙂 If you don't mind you can share more about this here? and how your PTSD is affecting you in general as well. This is a welcoming community, we are here to listen. 🙂🙂
