Aww, that's nice of you Jackson. But I think if I told my family I was going to learn to surf they'd think I really had lost the plot 😀. Do you surf at Bells Beach? I've seen the TV coverage of the classic, amazing stuff. I'm a bit of a sports junkie so watch everything sports-related.
Golden retrievers are lovely, beautiful nature and big soft eyes.
Do you live close to your family?

ouch lol,
when you say hold onto your board do you mean while standing or do you lie down on it.
I got sea sick watching the movie The Perfect Storm

Jackson....I am fit and probably could learn to surf......but what If I am scared (petrified) of deep water? (like cmf is)
I get way too nervous after about one meter deep....seriously....

Sometimes I do, there a lot of very experienced surfers there, it can be a little intimidating, and waves can be bigger than other beaches, for now I prefer to go to Bell's little brother beach - Torquay surf beach or out to Sorrento (other side of the coast).
i live in the next suburb to my family so nice and close, which is good

Lay down, hold onto your board and push down - so you go under the breaking wave and out further.

Yeah look, I'm not a great swimmer and probably shouldn't be in the ocean haha but yeah that's tough - sometimes when I'm paddling out I'll look down and be like ahh I can't see the bottom!

I love Torquay and the beaches it that way. I'm not really a water person though but i like it out that way.
Hey Paul you and i could try surfing with floaties hehe
Kaz, i reckon you could give it a go to 🙂
It's great that you live near your family, mine are not so close, not too far either but with traffic etc it's about 25 -30mins.

That's a beautiful part of the country. I've only been there a couple of times but it's stayed in my memory. I'm in Canberra, so a bit far. I like the beaches of the NSW south coast though. But I'm probably happier on the sand. I'm not so scared of deep waters Paul, just don't like the thought of what might in them!! GRew up inland.
SOunds like you're comfortable in the water Jackson. Did you grown up around it?
