Hi Sarah I am glad you are ok.Its been a struggle here with kids.My daughter has only a couple of weeks left this year and then she she is in her final year.On more year to battle to get her there
We had 95mm of rain last week.It is nice and green out here and the garden is growing crazy.
I am glad you have come out of lockdown and getting to be able to do more things and you might not have to wear mask much longer.
Take care

Mark.

Hi Sarah I am seeing how you are.You have been quiet and hope everything is ok.
I saw the specialist yesterday and have to go and have some more surgery again. Not sure when yet.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark .

Hey Mark

Thank you so much for checking in on me, I have been a bit quiet only as there is so much on atm with kids back at school and getting them ready for that, also my daughter has her netball back so I am essentially back in running around after kids mode..lol

I have been doing some really great therapy lately and that has helped so very much so I am actually in a really good place at the moment.

How are you and how are your kids going?

Next year is a big year for your daughter and hopefully the school can put some things in place for her to help her with her anxiety and the issues with just being at school. If they can help her in that space and maybe encourage some online learning she may just really flourish. I don't see why they could not do this with her as we have proved that we are able to do it with this whole COVID situation.

IT is a stunning day today and I am just going to grab some lunch and get some sunshine.

HOpe you are well and thank you for checking in on me, you are such a wonderful person Mark.

Hugs

Sarah

Hi Sarah I thought you might be busy with everything starting to open up again down there .
The hospital rung this morning and going to send me to a private hospital for my next operation procedure in the next couple of weeks.
My daughter has hayfever at the moment which isn't a good thing to have at the best of times but definately not in a covid19 world. She has the all clear from the doctor that is only hayfever She has been doing exams at school .I think they are the only days she goes when she has exams .
I have been feeling really down of late lonely and depressed.
My vegie garden has grown amazingly from the rain I have had.I will have about 60 cobs of corn to pick soon.Heaps of tomorrow's coming on as well.
I hope you are well.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark.

Hey Mark

Great to hear that your going to be seeing another specialist and having and appointment at a new hospital, I hope that they outcome of this one is successful and that you are able to get past this issue that you are suffering.

Hayfever is just out of control at the moment, we are really suffering down here too. The winds and the pollen have been so bad. We are really struggling with that too so I feel for your daughter, it is the worst. Great to hear thought that she has been going to do her exams and getting those done, good on her, it has not been an easy year for anyone so I hope she does feel proud she has accomplished what she has this year.

I understand what you mean about feeling lonely and depressed, I feel a bit weird myself now that things are opening up and we can do some things, but it is like "should I be doing that?", or "are we allowed to do this", and not really enjoying it. Also being so used to staying at home and seeing now one the whole idea of going out does cause anxiety I have found, so it is just easier to stay at home, which is weird as we have been wanting to get out for so long, just a whole lot of strange this year.

My veggies are all done now and I have not thought about doing any more, I think I am just focusing on getting through this year and getting the kids sorted with school and the likes.

I have a weekend away with my friends next weekend which I should be really excited about, but once again I am kind of feeling weird about it....I hope that will pass once I get there.

Great to chat some more to you Mark.

Hugs as always

Hi Sarah I know what you mean about coming out of lockdown and feeling strange.I still feel awkward when I walk into a shop and go out.Its like you don't know what you can't do and things that we do normally seem wrong. Its just a weird feeling.Things might be changed forever from it.

I can understand you having a break from your vegies.A lot of different priorities now.I just looked at my corn before and am only a couple of weeks away from harvesting.I don't know how much longer I will be able to grow vegies for with the way my health is.Its a lot of hard work for me.

I don't know if the next lot of surgery will be any help for me.I am losing or faith in it.

I hope you enjoy your weekend away with your friends next weekend. It will be strange seeing them for you but I am sure it will be all good and you will have fun.

It's been so hot here and it' windy today and the forecast is for severe thunderstorms later.I hope they pass by.The storms here usually miss us and usually just get the tail end of them.I need some rain here as it so dry and we have mice plauge at the moment. They are everywhere.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

Hi it' been very quiet on here.

Hey Mark

I have been a little quiet, although due to being so busy with the kids back and school and more people coming back to work and the end of the year fast approaching. I have also been trying to catch up with some friends which is really nice too. So I am happy to say that the quietness is due to having a lot on my plate that is good rather than a lot on that is not so good.

I hope you are doing well. I hope your appointments are going well and that you have a date scheduled for your next surgery, mostly though that it will be successful and bring you some relief too.

Have you been able to get out on your bike? The weather is sure improving here making it so much more pleasant to be out and about, although it means mowing the lawn more often which I really dont enjoy one bit!

The kids are starting to think about next year and the school is doing the headstart program which gets them ready for the next year level, I really cannot believe that my son will be in Year 11, I am sure you are just as shocked with Alabama doing Year 12....where have our babies gone?

Well the weekend away with my friends is this weekend so I am super happy about that, it has been a whole year in the making so we are very excited indeed, and we might even get to use the pool there, something that we have never done as we usually go in winter!

Well off to have my Chai Latte and get some emails done.

Have a great day my friend and chat soon

Hugs to you

Sarah xxxx

Hi Sarah I am just feeling very down at the moment and lonely.

My daughter finishes school tomorrow for the year.I have to drop her off tomorrow at 6am and she is going to an university that is 2 hours away with her biology class which is for people and her teacher is driving them down and I will pick her up about 6pm.

I did go for a motorbike ride on Sunday down to where I broke down on the border last year but couldn' cross the border as I don't have a border pass to get back in.In the 30 minutes I was there I saw only one car go into NSW but heaps of vehicles coming into QLD mostly towing caravans. Then I went home a different way which was about a 6 hour trip.I don' know when I will be able to go for a ride again.

Tale care,

Your friend,

Mark.
