Hi Sarah i googled Vietnamese restaurants and their is three in town but are closed because of the coronavirus.I will try one when they reopen.I like trying new things but rarely do these days especially with the kids.

Awesome your daughter is back at footy training.I have enjoyed watching the games this weekend on tv especially that my team one.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

Good Morning Mark

I am sure that when you try the Vietnamese you are going to really enjoy it, that is something nice to look forward too and you can treat yourself when they open, hopefully that is not too far away. I hope that people and small business can recover from this time. I hate to think people have lost their whole business because of this virus. I really hope that communities support each other and that we do start supporting Australia and start to look at what we can do here rather than buy stuff overseas as well as send our products overseas.

My daughter loved being back at training yesterday, while it was not totally the same it was great to see the girls out there together and running around and just being together. I am not sure if they will play an actual game this year but we will see.

I love footy and I am a massive Geelong supporter so I am super happy at Friday's game and also that it is back. Who do you support?

Hope today is a good one for you Mark and chat some more soon.

hugs

Sarah

Hi Sarah hopefully the small businesses can recover and are to open.A lot can open now but dont as it is not worth with the restrictions but hopefully as the restrictions ease more open and are supported by the local community.

Thats good you follow Geelong as i have a bit of a soft spot for them especially Garry Ablett senior and junior. The team i support is Essedon and have been supporting them for 45 years.

I was just looking in my vegie garden and looks like i have cauliflowers ready to pick. They have got nice heads on them.I need to pick my lemons and Tangelos and mandarines.I will make some marmalade out of them.

It was a very good bit of rain yesterday and is very muddy outside now.It was very foggy here this morning and now just looks cloudy.I hope my washing drys as i have washed all my bedding.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

Hey Mark

That is an awesome pic of your lemons, wow the tree looks like it produces a stack of fruit!

Yes the Ablett family sure have produced a lot of champions and they have really become the face of Geelong. There are some other young ones that are really starting to come through which is awesome to see as I think this will be Gary's last season so hopefully he has done enough with mentoring the young ones to see us into another GF. Essendon sure have had some good and bad seasons. They are a good club and hopefully they can get some runs on the board soon too.

I really can't believe how my veggies are growing, it is so good as I really didn't think I was going to pull this gig off...lol..I expected them all to just die I think.

I am making a fancy bolognaise sauce today as I have my friend coming over for dinner...it has milk in it???? Ok so we will see how that one goes too....

How are the kids going this week? I am sure that they are happy to be back into the school routine if nothing else, it just makes life easier wouldn't you say.

Hugs to you Mark

Sarah xx

Hi Sarah it has been a tough road since the drug performace drug saga for essedon.I like the look of Geelong some good names in that side and some up and coming ones.

My sons been doing ok at school the last week.My daughter had been struggling and been not going. It is worrying me as she only has to next november and she finishes school and then what for her.

I just picked a cauliflower for dinner tonight. They grew quicker then i thought.I cant wait to here about you harvesting about yours.

I use to make my bologneise sause but i am a bit lazy today and just buy the jars and is easier for the kids.

I need to make some marmalade and use my citrus.I have heaps of citrus to use.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

Hi Mark

I am sorry to hear that school is a real struggle for your daughter, it is so hard and I know how much anxiety it causes her. I hope that she can see that there are other avenues for her and that her school years are not who she is and who she is destined to be, there are choices, there are supports and there are alternatives that she can connect with and make a perfectly happy and successful life for herself, also she has an amazing dad who will love and support her.

I love marmalade, I haven't had any in years...I am going to get some today, white bread with marmalade..oh yum! My sauce was so yummy and we really enjoyed it, along with some garlic bread too..lol

How was your cauliflower? I too am so excited at the thought of harvesting my very own veg too, they are really growing and I can't help but go out there and check them out a few times a day...lol. I can't wait to see how the Brussels Spouts go too, I really love them friend with bacon and chilli...soo yum!

Have a great day my friend and hope that you have a big smile on your face.

Hugs

Sarah

Hi Sarah I hope you have a good weekend.A bit cloudy here maby rain later.

My daughter has flu like symptons so i will have to take her to be tested and probably me as well.Very slim chance it would be the virus. At least we can rule that out.

My son only made it to lunch time on friday. They rang me to come and pick him up after a few incidents. He had been making it to 3 pm.

My cauliflower was delicious.I am going to have another one with my corn meat i sm going to cook for dinner with home grown carrots and pumpkin and silverbeet.I am going to make a loaf of bread soon Golden Brioche.

You need to update date your profile picture with your vegies growing.Your so clever to get them growing despite your cat efforts to destroy them.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

Hey Mark

Sorry for the late reply, crazy week already...

I hope that your daughter is ok and that she is simply not well with a head cold and nothing more, especially not the C word! Please let me know how you got on with those results as I am sure that you are really worried about her.

I have tried to upload a new pic of the veggies but for some reason there is an issue and it is not letting me, I will keep trying tho, you will not believe how much that they have grown! I can hardly believe it. I am sure that your cauliflower was so good, I really cannot wait to eat something that I have grown and to see how it tastes...so exciting!

Sorry to hear that your son is having to come home early, that is really poor that when he is struggling that the answer is to send him home, surely they are working on ways to manage this with him and work with him, not just send him home and be done with it. He was doing so well so it is proven that he can last to 3pm!

My son's party has been cancelled due to new restrictions and he is really upset, he was planning to have all his friends over on Friday night, we will just have a family dinner now, which is fine but he is upset...I will give him a party when all this stuff has settled..whenever that is!

Chat soon my friend and hope that golden Brioche was devine, it sure sounds it!

Hugs

Sarah

Hi Sarah i am sorry you had to cancel your sons birthday party.I noticed the restrictions got tighter down in victoria.

This morning i spent the morning pruning in the garden.Tomorrow i am going to transfer a couple of trees.I dont like where they are growing.

Your vegies are looking good and have grown so much and i cant wait to you can harvest them. You will be so thrilled to eat your own vegies.

It has been cold here today but still no frost and no snow south of me that they predicted.I bet it is cold where you are.I must get the fire going.

I will let you know when i get the results.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

Hey Mark

Just wondering how the results are coming along and if you have heard anything yet? I am sure you are quite keen to get that one over with.

I am so very proud of myself too and they do look good don't they....I am so excited to taste what they are like and see if they really are different to shop bought ones...I am sure that they would have to be.

It is miserable here today and overcast and it really looks like the sky is about to open up and rain down hard, it is really dark.

My son is pretty annoyed that there is no party for him tomorrow but I have made a cake and I am cooking lots of food and he will have dinners over the weekend with different people to allow the amount of people we are allowed in one house ...grrrrrrr ahh well.

Hope all is good with you today Mark, how has the transfer of the trees gone? You are a real Don Burke...good on you for being so clever...

Hugs

Sarah
