Hi Mark
I am so sorry that the anniversary yesterday was so very painful for you and that 7 months have passed and you feel like you haven't improved. I tend to disagree, I think in the time that we have been chatting here that you have made some really great progress forward and that you are doing some really great things to take care of you, to try to improve your moods and to make you happy. You do have so many other considerations that also make your days challenging but I think you are doing a really great job.
These times are also not helping but I think that in the end we will have some new found appreciation for things in our lives and things that we no longer need in our lives, these lessons are never a waste, in fact it is really healthy.
I hope that you are doing ok today, it does seem a bit like the same day over and over and that is why we do need to include things to make days different, if we can.
Huge hugs to you my friend
Sarah xxx

Hi Mark
Sorry for my late reply, know as always that I care and have been thinking how your past few days have been.
It is a tough time to make some new connections and to try to get out and about to do the things that usually bring us connections, even if it is a trip to the shops, it is all apart of being with others and it is tricky that we are not able to do that at the moment.
Mark, I have been chatting to you for a while, I have seen the caring and helpful comments that you have posted here reaching out to others, you are a wonderful person, because you struggle to meet and make friends has no bearing on the fantastic person you are, please know that.
How has the home schooling been for your kids? Hopefully not too stressful, mine and going ok, it is not as bad as I thought and I am actually learning things too..lol
Chat some more to you my friend and hope you can do something nice for you today.
Hugs
Sarah

Hello Mark
I think that is great news that your surgery is on, although causing you some stress, it is good that the care you need to get well can be done.
I really like your new profile pic, it looks like a war veteran? I am thinking that this is to honor ANZAC day? It will be strange as is everything I suppose with not having the usual parade and the usual things we do to pay our respects to the fallen who fought so bravely to protect us, I will be out in my drive way on Sunday morning, with a candle.
How are the kids going with the studying? Have you found it to be better than you thought?
Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you, know that I haven't forgotten you, just got a few things going on as have you.
Chat soon my friend.

Hi Sarah yes i wasnt expecting to get into surgery this year after it was canceled and took me by surprise and wasnt prepared mentally for it so now i have to prepare mentally for it after the initial panic attacks i was having.
My profile picture is my grandfather who was a Gallipoli veteran and i thought i would put it up in honour and remembrance for ANZAC Day.I use to march with the school with one of my kids holding that photo.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark.

Hi Mark
That is so very special that you have that photo and that you were able to have it with you when you matched at school, what a wonderful memory to have.
I understand what you mean to mentally prepare for the operation, at least you do have some time to do that and it hasn't come totally out of the blue and they are expecting you the very next day, at least you do still have some time to gather your thoughts and to prepare.
Have you finished all the painting at home? I am sure it looks awesome and that it gives the place a nice fresh feel. It is so great to be able to see when you have done something like painting or repairing and can see the difference, it is really great and a great sense of accomplishment.
My mother had a heart attack on the weekend and a second one yesterday so I am off this afternoon to see her, but only for 15 mins and only me. It is very weird to not be able to support her through this time by being there, but she is in good spirits so I will go and take her something to read and to say hi and maybe even facetime with the kids.
Have a great day Mark and chat soon

Thank you so much for your love and support Mark
My mother is home now and doing really well, she is feeling so much better and is in great spirits, which is fantastic.
A trip to Bunnings I think is allowed, if you need to get things to repair and maintain your home I believe that is ok to do. However best if you can wait.
I am glad that your lounge room came up really well and that you are happy with it, awesome work, it is so great when you do something and feel really proud of what you have done.
Awesome that you have managed to help your son with his school work and can submit it on Monday, that is fantastic and I am sure he feels good too knowing he has completed his school work, well done to the both of you. I hope he is finding schooling from home ok and not too stressful. How is your daughter going with it?
Hugs to you Mark
