I'm starting a new discussion

I'm starting a new discussion because I am feeling totally lost with this new set up.

I can' locate any of the old threads I used to feel comfort in reading and occasionally contributing to.

I don't feel at all welcome in this new set up, far from it, I feel more disconnected than ever while at the same time people can see everything I have ever written, but I am having trouble contacting others!

To anyone else who feels a little confused and unwelcome, I totally understand!

I am disorientated and hope to feel more orientated somehow!

I receive notifications, but when I click on them, I can't even find the notification.

The Newest to Oldest option doesn't seem to work.

I have commented on a couple pf other posts about my struggles with the new set up...but can't find those posts anywhere!

It seems to me that if I start up this new discussion, then I should be able to find it under my own profile?

Maybe I will just chat with myslef here for a while until I either figure this new system out of give up!

I'm not sure all crocodile are capable of being softened up though this one may be an exception. If not may I suggest you think Louis Vitton handbags and Jimmy Choo shoes, it may put her nasty ways into perspective.

Yes it is nice to be able to chat with people, something I've come to appreciate more and more as I've gotten older. By the time I reach 100 I'll be a right blabbermouth:)

That walk sounds pretty good too. I find even a 1/2 hour drive after something will help me wind down

Sorry I've not been into this Discussion for so long. I only noticed this morning, in my profile page, where ther is a list of the Discussions I have 'Followed', the number to the left seemed different )not that I recall waht was there before - I don't remember numbers well), so I came in to see if someone had indeed posted here, & you, CMF had posted! last Tuesday nearly a week ago.

I don't know your Discussion, CMF, which you have been posting to. If you tell me the title I can find it.

I can't promise I'd be posting often to it - I can't promise that to anyone anymore, because like so many, I still find this site more difficult to use than before. I am having more physical problems than before, & find it is not possible to sit at my PC as much as before, too. & then my memory makes it hard to keep up with what people are saying what & in which Discussions... & sometimes the content of the discussion gets to me too much, as well.

Does having no-one responding to you, have you feeling neglected or ignored? If so, I'm sorry that has happened.

Hi Dools, I hope you still check in here sometimes, too. I (sadly) forget where to find everyone, but I'm glad I found this today.

Because now I'm wishing everyone a better year: 2023!

CMF......I feel disconnected too.  So different to years past when I could find anyone, anything lately theyd posted, could answer them easily, follow conversations, really enjoyed looking at everyone's latest posts, used to answer or comment on so many of them, hoping some were of use.   

I got quite close to a lot of folk, well I felt that anyway....now....it's all changed and still can't understand why.    Who was the genius who decided to change Forum so drastically?  It was perfect the way it was...."if it ain't broke....."..........really miss BB Forum as it was and should still be!

Hi Moon,

I try now and then to connect on here but feel rather lost and confused myself. It seems you can find out if anyone has connected through notifications, your profile and your discussions, even then I still find some connections that don't seem to be listed under any of those.

Hope you manage to stick around Moon and work out how to connect with people.
