You may as well know I read your post and it really woke me up to my own stupidity. People like you suffering enormously every single day and helping the likes of me with my petty problems. I think I made the mistake of thinking this forum is like facebook, but now I realise it is much, much more than that. You have my unreserved support and goodwill. I really wish you well.

In our woollies it was in the end of the people food freezer section. I think near the pastry etc. 

im envious of your rain, it's going to be super hot here all week. Although the predict we might get some lightning!

i find things are better when done to music, especially upbeat music. There are some songs that just make me smile. I think you should try it.

Holly sounds like a joy and I'm not surprised you spoil her.

we are scheduled to fly out in 2 weeks, I'm back to my mixture of excited and scared. We're looking at travel insurance tonight, it's all very real now.

And how long will you be away for?  Hope you're away long enough to make it all worthwhile.  I recall you had heaps of leave to take.  What about your boyfriend, has he got plenty of leave too?

We will be away just over 2 weeks. That's the most I can ask our friend to look after the dogs for. It will be enough to see some nice things and to do some cooking with my mum.

my boyfriend is all stocked up on leave too. I just sent my mum the flight details.

Fantastic.  It is so very real now then.  Work out what you are going to take with you to remind you of us  ( - :     Havent heard from Kazzl today, I hope her first day back at work went okay.

I'm off to bed now.  Need sleep before work tomorrow.  And even if I cant sleep, I can lay in bed and listen to the rain, which is now falling steadily.  Wish I could send some your way, because we have plenty.  I think we've already had over 40mms since 9am today.  And about 10mms last night in addition.  And no sign of letting up.  We'll be complaining of floods soon!

Not sure if you are still awake , but I was wondering what sort of things you like to cook?

 I had not heard of doggie ice cream either. But I have heard they have doggie cafes or doggie restaurants in some place, don't know where though. The other day, I went walking along the path near the beach. It is quite a long winding path. Every now and then, you would see this water bubbler for people. There is a lot of people running and walking on these paths. Well directly beneath the bubbler is a large metal looking catchment bowl. It catches drips from the water bubbler. This special bowl is for dogs. Because I great deal of dogs are out with there owners. It is pretty cute to see little and big dogs enjoying there refreshing water as well. I don't know.... maybe you have already seen these catchment bowls in WA.

Thanks Shelley.  Enjoyed listening  to the rain.  And yeah got a bit of sleep.  Woke up in a panic an hour or so ago though and had no idea where I was.  Hate that!  Just been wandering around since then and decided to check the BB site to see if anyone was about.  I think your last post was some time ago now, so I hope you're tucked up in bed and sleeping soundly by now.  And not sitting up in that chair of yours wide awake!  So how are you?

Good morning Scotchfinger.  Hey, guess what?  Your earlier post has come through !!

Thankyou for your comments.  I am not sure exactly which post you are referring to, as I posted a lot these past few days I think.  It is lovely to know that I have your support and goodwill.  It may sound a little silly, but that means a lot to me.  So thankyou.  

As you read through many of the threads you will see that my issues are very minor in comparison to most others here.  And its quite grounding to realise that.  There are many others far worse off than your own self.

I cant see anywhere however, where you have been silly or stupid?  I think you are being a little hard on yourself there.  I know you like to have a joke around, and you seem to have a really good dry humour.  Which I personally like a lot, and can definitely relate to.  But a bit of light heartedness can go a long way in helping people, so please dont stop doing that.

Oh, and yep, the new profile picture is an improvement on the part sumo one!    ( - :

Hi Sherie hun and all on this thread. I tried to post last night but my internet has been down, so posting quickly from work.

It's a bit strange being back. Things are OK, but I'm struggling a bit to get my head together. Just post-holiday blues I think. I'll come good.
