Hello
I am wanting to know if anyone else feels just worthless. And what they did about that feeling that creeps inside of you.
Thanks

Hi Shelley. Nice of you to check on me. I'm okay thankyou. How about yourself?
For your information, WA is 3 hours behind NSW during daylight saving time. But when NSW revert back to normal time after summer, they are only 2 hours behind us. WA dont have daylight savings.
Thanks for being there last night. Your comforting hugs were an enormous help, just when I needed them the most. xx

A post of mine that's been in moderation for a day has just been posted too. It's on the Guilt thread in the Suicidal thoughts board. It has been edited and, on reflection, rightly so. It was a bit full-on. Anyways, it explains why I decided to join BB.
Sherie hun, biggest hugs. You did it tough last night. Anniversaries are hard. Re-living things is hard. Bloody hard. I get stuck in memories sometimes.
Here's to a better night for everyone eh?
See you tomorrow.

Hello Scotchfinger
I just want to check with you, to see if it is actually OK for me to smile on the inside, because of some of the things you say. I am now fearing that I have misunderstood you in some of your posts. As I really don't know you much at all. So if I have misunderstood, will you please forgive me? Or if I have interpreted your words correctly can you reassure me. I would appreciate it so much..

Yes I found your post on the last page Sherie. I don't know much at all about PSTD, as I have never experienced anything like that. And I am a little cautious of even mentioning it, because I don't want to cause you any distress. It does make me feel sad. And I am truly sorry.
I did not know you ate for comfort, so do I, though I could not eat ice cream like you. Now what is coming to my mind is I think you did mention you liked dairy......... I head for the chocolate, whole blocks infact. But mostly I try to eat healthy. It is good you are not to hard on yourself about eating the ice cream.... well that is my understanding of what you wrote about that. I am way to hard on myself I think.....
I think I become a member of BB in early November, oh there is the date near my name.... 09 Nov 2015. Yes I do remember that man, and I did feel awful , and I was frightened of what he thought of me. I wanted him to understand me, but I am not convinced he did...
OK better go now, I have to brave a cold shower, because something has happened to the hot water system. I wish I could fix it. It is now almost 2am. Hope you are having a peaceful sleep.

Hi Shelley. I see you were up and about late as usual. When do you manage to catch up on sleep? Or are you one of those people who can survive with just a couple of hours rest a night. I certainly cant! I did manage to get some sleep last night however, enough so I can stay awake for the cricket today I hope.
You can mention ptsd to me - it wont cause any further distress. I had CBT (and Exposure Treatment) therapy in the middle of last year, and I'm much less sensitive about it now than I used to be. I have to go through further therapy sessions this year, which I'm not looking forward to. Its all pretty intensive and distressing stuff to go through.
Ahhh, chocolate! Yep, me too. I can chomp my way through a family block of chocolate occasionally. I particularly like Caramello, but like all chocolate. I wouldnt say that I was a regular comfort eater though, as it doesnt happen very often. So when it does, I'm not too hard on myself. It usually happens for a reason, so I dont get down on myself too badly. I do that enough over other things without adding that to the list. Any yes, you recall correctly, I like all dairy foods. But also fruit and veges. So I like the healthy stuff too.............
Okay so you joined 11 days before me. You are right about the homeless fellow, I dont think he understood you at all. Nor me, for that matter. I think we were on different wavelengths entirely. But I do still think of him, and hope that he is okay.
A cold shower at 2am doesnt sound too welcoming. And about fixing it, if you need a tradesman, its the worst time of the year to get one in. I do hope you're not without hot water for too long. And I think we are about to get some cooler and wet weather in most areas around NSW too. Not ideal. Have to boil the jug. Do you have a bath, or just a shower?
Wayne - I havent seen you on this thread for a while. But I recall last I heard you were not feeling the best. I hope you are improving now. I have seen you on the "Follow that Word" thread, so I know you are still there. I think you said you could hardly string a few words together, so that is a good thread for you to still keep in touch, sort of. I look forward to hearing from you again soon though. You and little Lucy. You can bring her to the Cafe you know! Perhaps to watch the cricket today? I may bring my Holly along today too.
Okay, hubby has breakfast ready to go. Catch you at the Cafe for the cricket.

Hi Sherie,
i know if this is a good idea or not, but could you plan something good for the 29th? Something that's for you, something you will enjoy, a way to start reclaiming the day. You don't deserve to have a whole day taken from you.
One thing I want to point out is that you are not pathetic.
Shelley I did see your quote, it is very true. I did go back to sleep on the couch, but forced myself to get up a bit later so as not to waste the day. It's back to work tomorrow, I'm a little glad as it means I will have something to occupy my days, but scared because it means I'm even closer to my trip.
hello Scotchfinger, nice to meet you.

Hey Shell, you've been keeping a very low profile today. I am hoping that it means you are having a fantastic day. But just wanted to check that you are indeed okay?
