Hello
I am wanting to know if anyone else feels just worthless. And what they did about that feeling that creeps inside of you.
Thanks

Hey Rob
How are you going? I was so concerned for you, a few days back. I hope you are coping OK.
Yes, I know that everyone else is worthwhile and important. Yeah same as you, I have a hard time believing it about myself.
I just wonder if that need, the need to feel like we are someone of worth, well..... if that need was meet, would so many people not have depression. I don't know?????
Hope you have good day tomorrow Rob.
Hugs

Hi Shelley Anne,
Thank you so much for your support and yes STS is feeling much better today.
I agree totally with your thoughts of todays society, we as a new age society have a lot to learn from history, to me history has shown us there are good and not so good so depending on the era ,there is good and bad, my view is simple just be kind to all, as you say nurture what is positive in our lives and the whole world be a nicer place to live. We all can do that without much effort.
I really like Gruffudd's Malcolm X quote…get rid of the i and it's all we how good would that be!
Thank you again for asking if I felt better today, that brightened my day so much more.

Hey STS
I had the opportunity to practice the " don't over think things" lesson, that we have been talking about. I get really anxious when I go to get my hair cut. I don't like having to verbally speak to the hairdressers. Hence I hardly ever get my hair cut. Well I decided to this year, I did not think about it too much at all before hand. I didn't get anxious or scared.. Yeah yeah yeah....
One of my favourite animals are actually lambs....
Well I hope you had a good day, today.
Hugs xxxx

Hi Shelley anne, I am doing OK, the issues are the same, it is like I have my own personal bully sitting on my shoulder and whispering into my ear, I cope well but end up very tired.
When I am having a good day there is self worth there, and you know that makes for a really good day. I think letting go of the mean things people say and do instead of holding onto them is rather important.
Rob.

Hey Rob,
What else makes a good day Rob? Can you tell when you get up which way it's going to go or do you have the opportunity to direct your day?
I can generally tell you by 8am whether its going to be a good day or not.
I really like your daily posts in 3 things to be grateful for. They remind me to be grateful for things, even the little things.

Hi Shelley Anne,
Congrats to you girl! must have been a fantastic day for you, I am so pleased that you managed to move through something that may be a hindrance to your happiness…thats great. I suppose that having your hair cut could be something that makes you feel good about your self and did they cut it how you wanted?..bet it looks great.
Lambs to fantastic little animals, I will share with you i do care for and raise lambs, at the moment I have 100+ or so and yes they are a handful sometimes but I try and just do my best, they do have a good life here.

My emotions are like stereotypical Melbourne weather, I can not predict what the day will turn out to be like 😉
I like the three things too and that leads towards an answer of sorts. St David of Wales said, "remember the little things" and I have been told to do that since before I could talk. People talk about mindfulness, for me that means being present in the moment and noticing the little things. When I walk I see more small wonders than if I drive. The feeling of wind, water, and sunshine are life giving. Today I spent time with some horses, talking to them, being nulled by them, and going for a walk together with no leads or anything - that was special like most time with animals. In a way being mindful is a gift of my grandmother and generations past, and it is nice to think that they are with me when I am finding delight in little things and when I am desperately unhappy too.

Sometimes driving puts you in a daze, like autopilot. Even just being a passenger I notice that there are things I didn't know were there. I wish I could walk more often.
Ugh, to be able to spend the days with animals, they really are the best people.
I love coming home to my little zoo, they are always happy to see me.
I have one little dog who is very discerning and doesn't take to people easily, but he is like my little shadow. He always makes sure when he sleeps he has a paw or something on me. Its a good feeling.
Its a good reminder

Hey Rob
Where does this personal bully that sits on your shoulder come from? Is that OK that I ask you? I would not want to cause you any distress at all.

I too like some of your posts, Rob. The thread killer, and the favourite things one. They are real cool, and a good idea of yours.
