Hello,
It is excellent that you have reached out here in the forums. Just knowing you are not alone is essential, and we are here to support you. Sometimes not feeling like talking to people and participating in activities can be a sign of depression. I've been there myself, and it can feel unpleasant at the time. However, there is support available to help you. Have you considered reaching out to your GP [there are after-hours ones for public holidays] and getting a mental health plan. With that, you can see a psychologist to get some strategies to help with these feelings. There is also the 24/7 webchat or helpline at Beyond Blue, where you can get support right away.
I hope this helps a little in realising there are others and you are not alone in this.

Hi there,
Thank you for your honesty in what you’re experiencing today.
I have definitely been there in the past where I pulled away from my loved ones too and didn't feel like talking much. Something I did to help me was journal about my feelings. I would write down what I was feeling or something that had happened. I felt better afterwards and lighter getting it down on paper. It’s such a good way to process your emotions and let them out.
Bottling up feelings can only make things worse and lead to heaviness on your shoulders. I think journaling is a good first step to take. I hope that you feel comfortable soon to open up to people in your life about what you’re going through, and that you will get the support you need. Community is also important and hopefully you will still be able to connect with others soon.
Hope this helps and you feel a little lighter soon. Sending hugs your way 🥰
