Hi there, I went back to my therapist and he has added another medication to help.
im trying all the strategies of seperating my feelings as being just that, feelings and they come and go.
it did scare me that I wanted to hurt myself because that’s not me.
I really am so thankful for this forum and people like you who offer support

I hope you don't mind us popping back in again, we’re so glad to see the wonderful support from Sarah and Amanda here. We can hear how much you're struggling at the moment, and it sounds like you're doing your best to be proactive in getting the support you need, and keeping busy and take your mind off these thoughts. But please don't forget that you don't have to go through this alone, and extra support is always available whenever you’d like to talk these feelings through.
The friendly counsellors at our Support Service (1300 22 4636), and Lifeline (13 11 14) are here for you absolutely anytime of the day, or night- and we hope that you reach out as often as you need during overwhelming times like these. We can hear your strength and courage through your words, but please never feel like you have to keep these feelings bottled up inside. Sometimes it can really help to be able to talk them through with a non-judgemental and supportive voice on the other end of the phone.
We also hope that you keep updating us here whenever you feel ready to, and continue to find some comfort from the kind and understanding words from our community here. We’re all here for you.

Hi Nicole,
I know how hard this can be and how much energy it can take to keep trying. It can be exhausting and very hard for those that have not experienced it to understand too. You will get there! You are doing all the right things by the sounds of it. Keep reaching out if you need support.
Amanda

Hello Nicole
You have no idea how happy it made me to read this post yesterday, to hear that you no longer feel like life is hopeless and that the medications are starting to make a difference for you. I am so beyond happy for you, so very pleased that you came to let us know that you are feeling like yourself again. I am so so very happy for you.
I understand totally your gratitude for this forum and the community, I have also experienced the same love and care and is the very reason that almost two years on I am still here. I am just so proud you reached out and that you have taken the drivers seat in your journey for wellness, I hope you feel so proud of you.
It would be awesome to see you around on the threads here and sharing your learnings and how you are doing and reaching out to others too, the amount of goodness that I feel when I do that is enormous and I hope you can get some of that for you too.
Chat to you some more Nicole and thank you, for choosing you!
Hugs
Sarah xx
