My heart goes out to Phillip Hughes and his family and wish them our greatest sympathy, this also extends to Sean Abbott who must have the greatest weight of the world on his shoulders which could possibly initiate a break-down. Situations like this are unavoidable, but truly devastating when unfortunately they do happen. I sincerely hope that their families, friends and any one connected with these two people seek professional help, as it will be a long road for them all. RIP. Geoff. x

Geoff,  thank you for commencing this post.  I was just about to do the same.

To the family and friends of Phil Hughes - I extend my deepest sympathies;  an absolute freak tragedy and so incredibly sad - it's literally beyond words.

To Sean Abbott - my thoughts are with you through this incredibly traumatic experience - it was a freak accident, it was not your fault - I know you will be surrounded by countless amounts of support and love.

RIP Phil Hughes.

Hi guys, very much agree, these will be trying times for Phil's family as well as Sean and his.  Phil gave us some amazing sporting memories while he was here, though. Below is a clip from cricket.com.au featuring a bit on his early life and some on the road footage with the Australian team. It's easy to see why he was so well-loved.
