Dear Alizerath,
It looks like you didn't finish your post?
I could take a guess and say that what you wanted to say was that your dog was your world, your family and that you are deeply, deeply saddened by his/her passing?
I know what it's like to lose a pet ....... my pets are/have been like my children, but I don't have, and never had, human children. Only ones of the furry variety. And yes, they are a part of the family.
My deepest condolences for the loss of your pet. I know this is a sad and difficult time. But please know that we are here for you and with you, for as long as you need us to be.
Take care. I'll be thinking of you. xo

Dear You,
I lost my dog 3 years ago to old age and I completely understand your grief. Your dog is your companion, your best buddy, your greatest confidant and they give you unconditional love. My dog is framed in a central place in my house and I look at her everyday. Perhaps you can choose your best photo of your dog and put him or her on the wall or by your bed if you haven't already. Mine still has her own Facebook page and every birthday I celebrate her even greater age. Our dogs are important. My sincerest sympathy to you, I am thinking of you and your dog. It will hurt less over time, I never thought it would.

Hello
I am really truly sorry for your loss, your best friend isn't here any more and that's an empty feeling and I've been in this situation several times but the last time was the worst, I'd had her for 18 years so I can absolutely sympathise with you.
People often say 'buy another
I'm terribly sorry for you.
Geoff.

Hi Alizerath,
This isn't silly or unreasonable at all, you have the right to feel very saddened about what happened and to want to talk about it. Animals are beautiful creatures. Your dog would have loved you dearly too and even though you may not be together on Earth anymore, your dog has gone to another place that is also really good.
I sometimes feel sad when I think about my cat even though he passed away 2/3 years ago. On the day that he passed away, I wasn't too affected by it, mostly because I felt numb and weird for most of the day, but I sometimes have dreams of him still.
Something really comforting to remember though is that we know that our pets had great lives and it's especially great if we got them from a shelter because that means we gave them another chance at life which possibly may not have ended up happening otherwise. I'm sure our pets were just as happy to have us as we were to have them and they know they were loved very dearly.
Would you like to talk about some good memories you had with your beloved dog? I'm not religious but I still believe in heaven and/or the after life and I'm sure it means a lot to your dog that you are thinking of him/her.
