in 24yo I have been suffering from depression, anxiety and anorexia since I was 11. as i have gotten older everything has just gotten worse. I have been in therapy and medicated since was 18, been hospitalised the whole deal and nothing has ever helped. I don't know what to do anymore and im losing hope that I will ever feel any different and I can't keep doing it anymore

Hi JadeRebekkah

I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling so challenged for so very long.

This is seriously outside the square but have you ever given any thought to a spiritual angle? I'm not talking about religion by the way.

Some may see a lot of that 'spiritual kinda stuff' as mumbo jumbo but it could possibly offer you a whole other angle to some of the issues you may be dealing with. I must say, it is my cup-o-tea (as I prefer a holistic approach to life). Actually went and saw a spiritual coach earlier this week and the new perspective I'm now exploring is extremely liberating. 'The Shadow Self' is a topic covered in both spiritual and psychological circles. Very fascinating stuff indeed!

Anyhow, just a thought.

Take care

I'm sorry to hear you've had a tough time. There's always hope, sounds like finding an outlet or something to keep you focused may be what your looking for. I can suggest yoga and mindfulness apps. I've tired both and it's very boring at first but if you give it a go and stick with it the results are amazing. Give it a try.
