Still in Perth Clinic. I will be here till next saturday when my husband will fly down to Perth. Then we will have a few days in the city together as well as him having a chance to chat with my doctors then we will be flying home... bit nervous bout that...
I think the mood stabilizers are working and Ive found some of the things weve discussed & learnt in group to be quite relevant and helpful. I guess the real test will come when I go back to my usual life. Going to buy tge set of relaxation cds as Ive found that really good.
Hope everyone has had a good sunday

Hi Mrs Cam,
Glad to hear things are going well for you. Also its good to hear your husband is coming to visit you. The more he knows by talking to your doctors the better a support he can be.
I do hope you can enjoy a few days in the city, it sounds like you don't get it often.

Hi Mrs Cam
Glad to see that you have benefited from being in the clinic. And it's nice to see that you and hubby will spend a few days together before heading home.
Pls remember take your time when getting home. When I left hospital to go home I was quite nervous and scared because of the not knowing how I would cope, but I took small steps and it was okay.
Good idea in buying the relaxation cd's - that will definitely help you.
Take care and looking forward to hearing from you again
Jo xx

Hi MrsCam, it sounds like your doing well in the clinic! This is good to hear 😃
Just a quick question, have you found that focusing on yourself in a clinic is the best way to fix problems? I'm contemplating going to a clinic..not for anxiety/depression but for a different reason...im desperate & am certain this is the only way to go...
Keep winning MrsCam,
Danny

Yeh Jo my therapist & nurses have discussed with me the need to ease my way back into life rather than jumping straight in the deep end...
Danny, I have found its been good to take a time out and through my group therapy I have been learning strategies to help me cope better. Of course everyone's situation is different but Id certainly reccomend this place if you sre in WA and Im sure there are similar places all around the country..
Hope everyone has a good monday 🙂

Hi MrsCam, I'm glad you're doing well 🙂 I'm from Victoria & there is a rehab clinic about a 5 minute drive from my house...I just have to time the rehab perfectly in regards to work commitments..I'm going to have to take 2 weeks off annual leave...the first week spent in rehab & second week at home just getting used to sobriety again...hopefully being sober & straight will improve my work..& most importantly my family life. Have a ripper night MrsCam!!
