dear AD, hope you don't mind if I abbreviate your username, but what you have said in this one line comment certainly means that you are having some grave problems of depression, so I want to thank you for coming to the site.

Because your message is only short and sweet so to speak of it means that you are crying out for help, but seem to be scared of what you have posted, but please can I assure you that the people here are not one that criticise anyone, because we have all been through this exact problem ourselves, so you have no worry that you can trust us, because our aim is to support you, suggest or advice you in any way we can.

So what you have said means that perhaps you are testing the waters, but please do, and even some people who are still struggling with their own depression have the ability to respond to other people who post in.

We would like you to come back to us and open up to us. Geoff.

Hi AD!

It is great to see you here as the bb community is here to help!

I had / have the same thing, very very hard to find enjoyment in many things and for many years kept to myself too!

It is hard to come to terms with but yes it appears you like many of us have some form of depression!

This "black dog" as we often refer to it is a very unfriendly beast indeed and can become quite debilitating.

May I suggest "I was very hesitant at first myself" that you:

a: keep talking with us here on the forums and

b: seek professional help and perhaps try some meds as recommended by a good practitioner

You have already taken the first step by coming here and we will help in any way we can!

Best Regards

Welcome, please tell as much as possible although very hard it will help to get it off your chest, we are all here with very similar issues. My bedroom is my favourite place when I'm at my down weeks at a time, I now walk often normally late at night which is not a safe option but quite it helps me, I sleep all day and can't sleep at night through the research I've done exercise releases what we lack serotonin, (sorry if misspelt) try any form of exercise it will help.

Hi

I am also new to this site. I guess I can relate to you in many respects because I suspect I might have some mental illness. This is a good place to be so I hope we can go through this journey together and hopefully help eachother on the way.
