I just thought I'd do a relaxed post and ask how you're coping with depression and what things you're trying at the moment.
I just finished ACT - Acceptance Commitment Therapy, a 12 week course, one day a week. It's been interesting. I kinda realise I can live with depression and anxiety and still live a fulfilling life. Now I'm like, oh uh what do I want to do!?!? As my Dr said I lack direction. I guess that's my next goal.
How about you?

Hi Spunkyturtle
I've had a good day. After having the flu last week, today was the first day I had some energy back again.
I've never heard of ACT. Did you find it useful? I'm doing something called neuroplasticity (I think!). It seems to be about the emotional right brain & the logical left brain, & making new pathways between them - again, I think!!
My husband is following the cricket in Sri Lanka tonight. It's not always peaceful while he does this!! I might be off to bed early!!
I hope you have a restful, restorative night. Cheers, Lyn.
PS I turn 60 soon & still lack direction!!

Love your name fairywings! Glad you had a good day!
Ive been applying for remission of debt for my HECS debt since January, I had 4 Universities delete $27,800 of HECS debt for failed studies myself and now a law firm is helping me appeal the other two Universities at the Administration Tribunal for the last $16,000. It's been a frustrating and eye opening experience, I've absolutely loved fighting for my rights and winning. The Law is an interesting thing. I told the Legal aid lawyer who was talking to me and giving advice along the way she had the best job. My Psychiatrist had told me I have no direction. I'm really keen to study some law, part of me is wondering if it's a fad, considering I have so much failed study.
Law came up on the MBTI test and it would be so rewarding. I may just do a couple units and see how I go, if I love it and do well then keep going and going.
