Hey ci
I know it sometimes feels overwhelming and I know what it feels like to want to hide from the world in your own safe place. I'm sorry. I am thinking of you, and wondering if you are OK. If you are still in the foggy place, I wish I could reach in and pull you out or something....
With hugs to you.
Shelley xx

Not too bad...anxiety isnt as bad a years gone by but the agoraphobia (the new black dog) is hanging around....Having difficulty walking my dog around a simple suburban block.....Tired of it....ugh
I will hang in there Skye...I have mastered anxiety.....just this now...
You have a great night 🙂

Hey Paul,
Hey that's awesome that you have mastered the anxiety! It's bloody hard, do well done!
And if you've mastered anxiety you can master the agoraphobia too!
If it isn't to personal to ask, why do you think this has come about? Have you always had it? You see a Psycologist don't you, I couldn't remember, if so, what are their tips for mastering it?
Hugs from here

Hey Skye
Good to see you and ta for the response too! Without getting bogged down with Anxiety....When I mentioned mastered it...I have in 'general' The panic attacks have decreased big time...and even though I seem to have this annoying agoraphobia now...its still a anxiety condition.
And of course its not too personal to ask....These following problem anxiety issues have gone away...Dentists.....being in a long que...elevators....meetings...and just panic attacks out of the blue..waiting rooms...
The main reason they do decrease in intensity and all together is the 'true and calm acceptance' of them. So, in a nutshell I do hope some of these tips (even one) will help...even a little
* True and Calm Acceptance of the situation you are in right now (yes that takes time)
* Finding Anxiety 'Boring' ......sounds so simple..but it works
* Learning (yes takes time) not to 'Catastrophise' /thinking the worst will happen (CBT)
* Now and again low dosage of best selling medication can assist while healing
* No TV or cell phone screens late at night (just causes over stimulation of nerves which we dont need lol)
* Turn off Cellphone to avoid 'anticipatory thoughts that it might ring' at night
* The power of distraction when you feel anxiety approaching
* Self help....Even nag your GP once a week...this does work (if you have a good one)
* Self Help...."Self Help for Your Nerves" by Claire Weeks...read it over and over...its in plain english..it works
* 'Be gentle to Yourself' Skye...It brings on a state of calm and some relaxation
* I havent used a psychologist since the '90s...they do work well tho...I just use my GP now Bi-Monthly
* If possible avoid people that are overly negative and critical...they only compound anxiety(and depression)
* When you are comfortable...tell people about your anxiety....it decreases the condition itself..
All of these need time to work of course, but depends on the degree and severity of disorder etc
I wont wish you luck....you dont need it Skye 🙂
