Thanks skye my story very similar to yours my anxiety just kept getting worse and worse. My face and hands would just go numb and a list of other things would happen physically so  hard to know that it's just anxiety and your not sick.

I almost had total break down end of last year it got to be to much was starting to be scared to leave the house.

I don't know what happened got unwell physically and went on a sugar free diet to get better and I noticed I started to feel a little better I was surprised cause I don't eat a lot of sugar but it helped my anxiety. I also cut  out tea and coffee my husband thinks I'm crazy cause I just drink hot water.  But we both have seen a huge change in me couldn't have even thought of accepting my uni offer a few months ago but I feel like I can push myself to try. My doc said sometimes it helps to make your mind really busy and not give the ocd room to fit in. So fingers crossed they right.

Over the years I've found myself becoming more isolated and my anxiety ocd has gotten worse and worse so maybe there is some truth to it?

Skye you will get through this we both will and be stronger people for it!

Dear CI

Okay maybe 'silly' as in funny but the strength IS there....like all of us you have a lot on your plate (actually your plate is overflowing a bit 🙂 ) and its hard to see the forest for the trees....

The only reason was smiling the other night was when you typed in 'I have 3 crazy kids' Its just the way you articulated that....I thought it was a classic...thus you made me smile!

I only sign off with 'Woof! ' (not with a very sad tragic post of course) as a term of unconditional support and it sometimes helps people smile.

Here for CI.....Paul.......Woof!

Skye...Hey...Undeserving of praise...I dont think so....You are huge help to many people on here...and you are right with CI being inspirational...spot on. I live with my Burmese Mountain Dog German Shep Cross and thats it..My daughter has moved out a couple of year ago so There's just me and this 65Kilo gentle giant here......So I just cant fathom how CI does it....I shake my head in admiration as well as disbelief.....

Be Gentle to Yourselves

Paul

Woof!

Paul,

i just wanted to check in see how you were going. I also wanted to tell you a story, I hoping you don't think it was stupid. When I was young, I had to walk home down a very long drive way, it took probably 20 minutes. It was quite boring, hey I was a kid. I used to imagine there was a trap door in the ground and underground there was a train manned by gnomes, and we would go on these magical adventures on the way home. I thought maybe you could think of that on your walks.

Hi Ci,

how are you with you beautiful family? When do you start uni? How have you been! What are you going to study?

Hi skye I was just posting on one of your threads.

I'm doing ok mum staying at the moment that doesn't help my ocd but I'm getting through it better than usual.

Studying community service financial counselling start soon had a freak out few days ago that I wasn't going to be able to cope but I trying to believe that I will.

Sounds like you have had rough week hope things getting better. You know something funny I to had to work home on a very long drive way grew up on large acreage and parents thought great idea to build the house near the back of the property.
