There is so much going on in my life right now and it feels like I'm losing control and I'm not dealing with it well. I've one close friend but he has his own things to deal with and it 8hrs away. Feeling sad and alone. I am seeing my Gp tomorrow but I don't even know where to start to tell her what's going on

dear 65, welcome to the site and thank you for posting a comment.

Sometimes I just go searching for posts that haven' been replied to, so I came to yours.

It seems as though you are finding life very tough and it's probably been going on for awhile, which is very concerning and a worry not only for yourself but also for us.

You may have seen your GP by now, so I wonder what they have done for you, perhaps put you on medication as well as a medicare plan to entitle you to 10 free visits to go and see a psych.

I wonder if you feel as though you can trust us in coming back to us, and to mention a couple of points that are causing this trouble, even if you just give us a couple, so that you will be able to gain some confidence in us.

It's a friendly site where no one will criticise you in whatever you want to say, because all of us have been to hell and back more times than we can count, so there is always great support here from all these wonderful people.

Can I also say is that many of these lovely people are still struggling themselves with some type of depression, but they have decided to reply to other people and their quest to help them and support them.

So I really hope that you reply back to us. Geoff.
