Since losing my dream job 3 months ago, I just feel completely lost. I cant describe it. They took so much from me, ripped my world out from beneath me...
Im supposed to start a new job tomorrow . I don't even want it. I've been crying all day. I know I wont go.
So much was taken from me.

Hi there,
It must have been so hard for you to navigate through during the last 3 months, so painful to lose something you love so much and that feeling of being lost must have been unbearable.
I know a new start with so much uncertainty is so hard to go through along with that feeling like we have stepped a few steps back on your pathway. Yet, knowing that you went through all of that shows me how resilient you are. And sometimes a detour in life might lead us to another path that we didn't realise we would enjoying going through.
There's this idea that I heard very recently from the Ancient Stoics, which they see hardship as a kind of "divine training program". And even though I don't particularly believe in the higher force, that idea helps me think about my tough time like I'm doing through a special life training course. It is indeed so hard and painful, but I keep that idea in the back of my mind that it will gain me more strength one way or another, if not skills then emotional and mental ability to keep in the back of my backpack in this life journey.
Thank you for sharing what you are going through. I hope you are taking good care, and hope that things will get better.
All the best for your journey!
