Hi

just wondering how many of you tell the people closest to you that you post here ? I'm thinking about telling my wife I post here and that if it helps her she can read my posts ...... It's hard to tell someone close how you feel , but easier to pos about it to people going through the same

cheers

Hello Fine

I have just replied to your other post where I suggested that you and your wife explore the resources available on BB. This may be a problem if you do not want her to know you are posting here because once she has found the web site she can browse everything. On the other hand, if you do not tell her your user name would she recognise your posts?

It's a tricky point. I'm not sure if I would tell my spouse. A number of my friends know I post here but as far as I know they have not visited the site. I'm not sure if they would recognise my writings.

It may be an easier way to tell your wife how you feel, but I think you will be constantly monitoring your words in case you say something that you feel may upset her. This forum is really so that people can let their hair down, so to speak, and be confident that no one knows who they are. It then becomes so much easier to write about yourself. Pros and cons.

My personal view is that you should be able to write freely without thinking your words will upset your wife. You can tell her what you say and keep a copy of you posts without revealing that you write in to any forum. Just keep them as a journal. But please be aware that the value of this forum is that it is anonymous.

I think I have argued for both sides, so I hope I have not completely confused. you.
