Hello Mocha delight, I'm sorry you have had the gastro, it's a horrible and annoying feeling having to keep going to the WC suddenly, my Dad, a GP, always said to try and keep the fluids up, flat lemonade, dry biscuits or toast with a scraping of vegemite.
The fear of having your pet being sick is terrifying, so much goes through your mind it's awful.
I think we always fear the worst, especially when they aren't eating.
I hope you have both recovered and it's lovely to see you back.
Take care.
Geoff.

Hi mocha delight,
I hope you and the cat are both feeling better. Gastro is not very pleasant is it! Our cat has a very funny reaction when she vomits. She runs away from it backwards and hides for a while.
Do you spend a lot of time with your cat? Does she like to sit on your lap or snuggle up next to you at night?
Our cat came from and animal rescue place. She is not at all friendly and has never sat on our laps and doesn't like to be patted much either. Funny thing.
Do you have any plans for next week? I'm working all weekend and the public holiday but hope to do a couple of outings the following week. Might even try to get to the beach, it is some distance away from where we live.
Do so hope you and the cat are feeling better.
Cheers from Dools

Hi mocha delight,
It is great you have been able to talk with your Dr.
From my experience, a mental health care plan can take some time to go through and organise.
Have you requested your Dr assist you with obtaining one of these? I'm not sure Drs offer a MHCP automatically. Have a chat to you Dr and see what you can organise.
All the best, regards from Dools
