Ok so I’m going to start a post where I’ll just going to check in when I feel like I want to with how I’m doing day to day. So Wednesday & yesterday mum was nitpicking at some symptoms/signs of depression I’ve been having again despite being on antidepressants. I’ve also been experiencing feeling like I’ve had way to much sugar/coffee which I don’t and just today I had this quite big spurt of energy which I have no idea where it even came from & nor have I ever experienced something like that before.

Hello Mocha delight, I'm sorry you have had the gastro, it's a horrible and annoying feeling having to keep going to the WC suddenly, my Dad, a GP, always said to try and keep the fluids up, flat lemonade, dry biscuits or toast with a scraping of vegemite.

The fear of having your pet being sick is terrifying, so much goes through your mind it's awful.

I think we always fear the worst, especially when they aren't eating.

I hope you have both recovered and it's lovely to see you back.

Take care.

Geoff.

Hi mocha delight,

I hope you and the cat are both feeling better. Gastro is not very pleasant is it! Our cat has a very funny reaction when she vomits. She runs away from it backwards and hides for a while.

Do you spend a lot of time with your cat? Does she like to sit on your lap or snuggle up next to you at night?

Our cat came from and animal rescue place. She is not at all friendly and has never sat on our laps and doesn't like to be patted much either. Funny thing.

Do you have any plans for next week? I'm working all weekend and the public holiday but hope to do a couple of outings the following week. Might even try to get to the beach, it is some distance away from where we live.

Do so hope you and the cat are feeling better.

Cheers from Dools

Thanks for your reply Geoff and the family drama still going on and during while I was sick & my cat being sick to on top of that I had my 2 uncles on that side have a go at me on different days. I’m also still struggling with my undiagnosed depression and as the cherry on top this week just gone for the past 4/5 days my other cat has been unwell but despite not been taken to the yet his already very slowly been improving since early Sunday evening so that’s relief even if it’s been a slow start to him getting better now.

Thanks for your reply Geoff I was starting to feel better by Friday of that week and well & truly I’m all good now.

Thanks for your reply doolhof yes I was starting to get better from Friday of that week. As to your questions yes, yes and the following week I just took it easy or tried to anyways.

Still struggling with mostly bad days but I had a phone appointment with my gp yesterday and I was more honest with how I’ve really been feeling ect ect ect . Only thing I did not mention was something from before my mid 20’s which I’ll just at that and also my gp never mentioned about doing a mental health plan which is that normal?

Hi mocha delight,

It is great you have been able to talk with your Dr.

From my experience, a mental health care plan can take some time to go through and organise.

Have you requested your Dr assist you with obtaining one of these? I'm not sure Drs offer a MHCP automatically. Have a chat to you Dr and see what you can organise.

All the best, regards from Dools
