The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open

At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Hi mmMekitty,

It's lovely to hear about what you've been up to lately. I absolutely love seeing the moon at nighttime! I have marked on my calendar when every full moon is and look forward to it every month, it's so cool. Your jelly flavour sounds really sweet and yummy! Nice to hear you're working out and I also try to work out as much as I can (a few times a week) or whenever I have time. It's good to boost your mood and just enjoy life's simple pleasures.

Take care,

Hello PsychDiaries,

Great to hear from you, too.

I wonder if you listen to music while you do your workouts? I've been doing that with some degree of sucess at home, but mostly I end up dancing around my flat. The lively music I choose is a pick-me-up all by itself. Once I feel the music begin to work on me, it begins to motivate me to move, it livens me up & I soon feel happier than I did at the start. The combination of the music & movement does seem to really elevate my mood.

I don't like how loud the music is in gyms, though, & not the thumping doof-doof kind of music either. These just get me feeling aggravated. It feels too aggressive for  my liking.

I've made up a list on YouTube of many lively songs, many older songs from the 50s, 60s & 70s & a few modern song, too. All songs I like, sing to, too, & are upbeatt & mostly happy.

I do like some very serious songs, too. I will keep those on another list.

When I want some songs to help me express angrry feelings, I may well try learning someof those doofy songs. Or go back to the singer/songwriters who have helped me in the past.

Getting a bit warmer again, means more salads, & reminding myself & others to drink more water.

I will wait for Xmas to make more blue jelly  with cherry juice. It After all, it was an expensive brand of cherry juice.

Hugzies,

mmMekitty

Hello all, it's a great day for me today for a change!  I always look forward to good days after being in bed and sleeping too much or not at all and just wanting to stay in my room!

Today I'm so happy to feel well!  It won't last of course but 'cease the day or possibly the week while I can.  First I did some light housework, worked on my genealogy project, made a nice lunch, and now for a shower and shopping.  I'm just focussing on what I can do and not what I can't.  Wishing you all good days, and I acceptance of the crap ones. 😊
