Seeking connection 

I am Arra I am 30 years old, I like mountain biking, fishing, surfing, gardening and going for walks with my family. I am connecting on here as I feel quite isolated, alone and exclude from other services when I actually need *help* not to be silenced or excluded 
I don’t always get it right, impulsiveness comes with having severe adhd that has affected me my entire life, so sometimes I say things I don’t mean or find rules hard to follow, but I am trying so hard. I have a history of severe and complex trauma, anxiety and issues managing my anger and overwhelm 
I would like to establish connections and a community here. I hope people drop in this thread to say hi.

I’m so sorry that a person you knew passed away…of course you would be very saddened by that horrible news…..Someone who has influenced you would be someone beautiful that you will never forget, you have some beautiful memories of them to keep them tucked with love and care in your heart….my deepest condolences to you and your family…may they RIP in Gods care..

Cry if you need to, let yourself feel what you need to feel, grief and grieving has no timeline or rules….We all grieve differently and in our own personal way…a gentle hug 🤗 Arra, if that’s okay….

I just feel abit heavy in the heart @Ggrand 

But also don’t know how to reach out to the rest of the family, if I should 

They contacted me and I said thank you for letting me know but having lost both of my parents I know the pain even if my circumstances are different 

I might leave it a few days, Mrs Arra said to send some flowers and a card might be a nice idea they live about an hour and a bit away from us, in the city kind of

He was planning on visiting us soon 

I never had an active dad or grandpa in my life my dad was around but is a source of a lot… most of my trauma 

This man looked after me and helped me out with things I imagine a grandparent would

The funeral was is Monday @Ggrand 

on another unrelated note I started a YouTube channel this week of home DIYs idk just for a hobby and a bit of fun for people trying to do things around there home and thought I might of well share what I’m doing so people can learn from it I mean already have to do the task anywhere might as well teach people in the process and my first video already got 10 views

Dear Arra,

Congratulations on starting your own YouTube Channel…I wish you all the luck I have that your channel expands to great heights…

I am sorry about your dad not really being there for you and he caused you a lot of trauma..my parents were the same…not really wanting a daughter I was mistreated and abused a lot…..

The funeral is this coming Monday….are you going?..its okay if you can’t go…and it’s okay if you do go….That decision is yours alone dear Arra….

Sending flowers and a card is a beautiful heartfelt gesture, I like that idea…

Remember Dear Arra, that grief and grieving is your own personal thing…there’s no rules on how to grieve or no time limit..its deeply personal….

I am quite socially anxious so the videos are me trying to put myself out there and out of my comfort zone @Ggrand 

I will go I’ve already asked for the day off from work, Mrs AD said she would be there for me but we might find it hard with the kids so it will just me I think

You done well by attending your mentor’s/friends  funeral….even when your anxiety tried to stop you…saying our final goodbye’s is so very heartbreaking…..May your friend RIP…..in Gods care…

Take time, all the time you need to grieve and process your beautiful friends passing….in your heart your love for him is reminding you of the good times he gave you…

@Ggrand  Mrs Arra came and bought our 2 littlest we got care for our oldest 2

I was so grateful for Mrs Arra making a huge effort and organising a lot to get there and nobody wants to take a baby and a toddler to a funeral but they did so well 

My oldest kids wrote me a card (with help) and that was very kind
