My 21st

Hi everyone
so mums just come home yesterday and she said what do you want to do on saturday? i said im not sure but will have a think about it.
she said do i want to have a big get together with all the family and i can invite friends (got none of those) but i really dont see my family that much and when i do they only want to see my pop.

ive arranged a hotel for a night on the sunday afterwards but mum wants to celebrate on my actual 21st which is this saturday

im torn as i know shes trying to help but i really dont want a major thing despite it suppose to be a big deal

any ideas?

OMG!!

I had to peel those pants off and had blisters on my poor feet from dancing. Butter all over my hands and lovely cotton top - now in the bin. ALL worth it though!

21st birthdays are a great excuse for family reunions. I had 50 at mine and only 4 friends. It was a beautiful night to remember because of people I hadn't seen since I was little. I hope it was like this for you too.

I do hope you find some semblance of joy that remains as a reminder of 'good things happen to good people'. Your mum's one of them for giving this wonderful time to you. Even if the drama that preceded it was a little too much.

You'll keep this night in your memory forever I can assure you. Happy Birthday young lovely. You're in my thoughts...
