hi Kanga, thanks so much Paul, I have done what I have always done to my palms for over 30 years, and I did pay attention to them even when I was in that black hole, they would last for years, but now in a new place facing the same direction I don't have any luck.
The leaves on the palm die and then another leaf goes brown and then hits the dust, I feed them not too often and spray the leaves to make it a humid atmosphere and only water when they are dry, I have now bought an artificial tree, I dislike them and it's disappointing, maybe I am doing something wrong. Geoff.

Hi Geoff,
You mentioned that you're doing what you've always done (and they were fine before) and the palms are now dying since they've moved.
What do you think about the change in water? Do you use tap water? Some palms are sensitive to the level of salt or other chemicals in the water. It could be worth a try using distilled water for a while to see if that helps. If there is a build up of salts in the pots you can water them heavily (distilled water) and let them completely drain to leech out the salts.
