Game: Hilarious Haikus!

I’ve been making up silly haikus while on the train to help me get out of my head and into the present moment. I thought we could make a game of it!


The rules are simple - Write a poem of three lines only.
1st line: 5 syllables
2nd line: 7 syllables
3rd line: 5 syllables
Then leave one word for the next person to write a haiku about.

The inventor of
Haikus are really helping
Quiet my weird brain

MUFFINS

Freshly baked muffins

That delicious aroma

is mouth watering

Me going down street lanes

Wishing me to fall

Calm lake still, serene

Rocks skipping the surface

A passing scuffle

While Deeply Kissing
The couple sweetly exchange
Each other’s Chewing gum
