What a wise old walrus you are, Croix, thank you. I did report & explained my concerns. I've also replied to the email I recieved. I've seen your post. Thank you again. This really means a lot to me.
Can I snuggle up to your flipper, too? Give you hugzies?

'Plastered kiwis' - I'd like three of them on my wall!

Dear MK~
I'm not sure it is that sort of plastered, and expecting them to stay on your wall is a bit much anyway, they'd just slide down and snooze in the nearest corner.
And frankly I don't trust you :)- you have a sneaky sense of humor, if you came near one of my flippers you'd probably slip a penguin under it!
Yes, MM has a hard row to hoe, I am hoping things get better as times goes on. MM has already overcome an awful lot in life.

Hello Croix and MK
I’m spun out just now to be reading about inebriated kiwis on this thread after I was posting about kiwis and inebriated kererus (wood pigeons) on the good memories thread. That seems like some kind of synchronicity.
This really is a most interesting iceberg I’m hearing about with all manner of happenings and beings on it. May I suggest a slide 🛝 that sits on the iceberg and allows playful penguins to slide into the water for fun, if it doesn’t take up too much room? I know walruses need decent space for snoozing and sunbathing.

Dear Eagle Ray~
My iceberg used to be a haven of peace and tranquility until those persons of ill repute started to take over. They introduced the penguins who took to sliding down the roof of my igloo into the water, wearing a trough and making swishing sounds as they did.
In self defense I provided them a slide (about 6 months ago in this thread I think) and since then they have been going 'Weeee -sploosh!' and patter back for more ever since.
It's not easy being the owner of an iceberg so many saboteurs in the offing:(

Dear Croix, I can see why you feel a disgruntled walrus. You probably want to close your eyes and cover your ears with your flippers (actually I’m not sure if a walrus’ flippers are big enough to reach their ears). We could knit you a pair of walrus-sized ear muffs?!

Me & the penguins & some pelicans I have hired to scoop up the detritis & carry it away, are still cleaning up. It's very hard to do while mmMekitten & inebriated kiwis are trying to plug up every crack & crevice with rainbow-coloured sprinkles & glitter. LRC has 'found' one of those brooms used in curling & is sweeping the ice all over the igloo dome & around, between the statues I'm not removing! No, I simply won't. At night passing ships will have a lovely sight of a giangantic ghostly sight of you & Sumo. Imagine that? [grinning, LRC sweeps Walrus Ice Statue' tail].
Hi ER - I'll get on over to read your latest post on Store Your Happy Memories Here, thread, when I can.
i think we'll be done by sunrise.
Croix, not trust me? Really, what's not to trust about a cat that has at least 3 simultaneous lives in play?
Hope the earmuffs fit well.
Hugzies to everyone!

Dear All~
Been away for a few days and I'm afraid I am not so sure employing pelicans was such a good idea. As I understand it they are huge eaters, and there is an unfortunate result to all that gastric activity. I see my iceberg is covered in a most unpleasant substance, does not realy make up for the good intentions 😞
I did mention his statue to Sumo who merely said it was no more than his due, he then became 'busy' again, 'curling' up in the process.

Oh, dear Croix, what can I do? This place is so cold the mess is freezing hard as rock & became unsightly! I had expected the pelicans to carry it off & dump it into (sorry) more landfill, for the ibises to squabble over. This is an environmental tragedy.
I wish I'd tought of how to recycle it all.
What if I were to fling it all, using a massive catapault, into space, & lose it among the other space junk? Do you think anyone would notice?
Or what if I make you an iceberg extension, you know, wrap it all in new white sheets, I've sewn together, & tie it to one of the sticky out bits? Be like your own Tasmania! I can even leave it lumpy.
*sigh* it really is hard to take responsibilities for one's own actions...
Would some hugzies & mmMarshmallows help?

Dear Croix and mmMeKitty
I did my best to control my stingrays, but they have taken to giving rides to mmMeKitty’s penguins on their backs round and round your iceberg at high speed. I hope this isn’t making you dizzy and I’m so sorry for the penguins’ loud yahooing! I tried to distract them with some fish but they were having too much fun.
Perhaps mmMeKitty could indeed build you an iceberg extension, giving you more real estate to provide decent space for a walrus? There is of course always the risk of it being filled up with even more penguins 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧
