I didn't exactly know where to post this so I hope this is the right area.
I had applied for DSP from centrelink and after waiting a few months I just found out it got rejected. I have no idea what to do now. I Suffer from extreme anxiety / depression from growing up in an abusive household. For the last 10 years I have been massively depressed and suicidal. I have trouble even leaving the house and my mother makes most of the calls / centrelink appointments because I will have panic attacks.
I just want to know what I can do now with getting some income a week to help myself out a bit more. I am on high doses of antidepressants and have been slowly getting better over the last few months but after getting the letter about my DSP being rejected I have gone downhill again.

Hi Madus, welcome to Beyond Blue forums
It is much harder to get the DSP now, thanks to the current Govt.
How to make extra income depends on so many factors, what you are good at? what equipment/tools you have etc. The possibilities are endless but the opportunities are few.
Dont give up, no matter what. Make things and sell them at markets. Be innovative.
In 1992 I was unemployed and made a locomotive based on my old ride on mower. Added 3 carriages and rode it around my local towns showground show and made $500 for a day. Then I made cubby houses. Cute little ones with attic windows. But they are not a living, only a supplement for a job. But it makes you active.
Think of something you enjoy doing. Tony WK
