I like the unicorn, it reminds me of a significant symbol in a favorite move.

If you can dress people down in writing, then regard your illness as needing dressing down. I'm sure you will end up with a pretty honest and accurate account of your symptoms to hand over.

Actually that's not so far fetched - sometimes I think my own conditions have a mind of their own, they can ramp up for no apparent reason:(

I don't know what to say to you about your thinking you are beyond help. I've already mentioned going from TPI (which I took to be a fact) to a much better life. Perhaps help does not always come from the direction we are expecting? I found writing here to others has turned a lot of my life around - totally unexpected. Study gave me structure, occupation and identity when lost. Dunno if these are good examples or not.

I don't know if you are talking metaphorically about hitting your head. If real it's a worry and you need a less destructive alternative, can you think of other candidates?

Hey
I can relate to the feeling weird and everything around me feels weird.
I constantly feel like very thing is wrong or weird because I'm wrong and I get stuck trying to process that feeling and I end up spiralling and crying.

My mum tells not to try to process major things when I'm in this state cause I can't separate my emotions.

There's an app called 'what's up'
It has a bunch of resources and it allows you to write down what your feeling and rate it and helps you observe any negative thinking patterns.

Hope this helps, even if it just makes you feel less alone.
