I don’t want to go into the entire background story right now it gets hard telling it over and over again. But I just need help I need an ear, I need a hand I have panic attacks that have started again I get sick feelings in my stomach and tingling like butterflies from my chest right down my arms to my fingers then spreads to down my legs I get feelings of such helplessness like I can’t help myself I’ve had extensive therapy no medication yet some haven’t worked. I want to feel happy again but I over think and need to safety plan and worry so much about what could go wrong from my past it’s destroying my relationships and existance. I have feelings I want to hurt myself I can’t! I have kids! How do you get past these unbearable feeling when you’re left to cry by the people you love you express to them directly what you’re feeling and get no concern back whatsoever I’m scared legitimately scared. I just need help a hand a friend someone not to get angry I just need someone to be there I’m so isolated and have nobody and have to be there everyday for 4 kids everyday and 6 kids every second week. What do I do? Any help is very welcomed
thanks kindly
Ellie

Hi Ellie,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling so overwhelmed with
panic right now. I can understand why you’d be scared when you feel such little
control over what’s happening to you at the moment. You want things to get better,
but it sounds like you feel stuck. It must be really upsetting to open up to those
around you and feel like your feelings are not being taken as seriously as you
would like. I’m hoping that you feel heard on these forums.
I admire your strength in being there for your kids despite
everything that’s going on. It sounds like you've really got your hands full most days. Are you home for most of the day looking after
them?
You mention that you’re worried about something going wrong
because of your past? Is there something from your past that’s been on your
mind lately?
Hope to hear back from you…

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling that way.
I too suffer from anxiety and I find that when I'm feeling anxious I sometimes get symptoms like chest pains, migraines, limbs aching, stomach pains, and every single symptom you described.
Stomach pains are very common symptoms for people that suffer from anxiety, it's called 'restless bowel syndrome' and it's not dangerous, just uncomfortable. I suffer from this too from time to time.
The tingling feeling in my hands and arms I can only say I've felt once before in my life and that was the first (and only) time I had a panic attack.
I'd highly recommend watching some of 'The Anxiety Guys' videos on YouTube, they've really helped me in the past. He explains all the symptoms you're feeling and why they happen and gives very useful advice.
I hope this helps. Hope to hear back from you soon.
