Today I find myself thinking, probably over thinking.....well I am not good at small talk. Anyone got any thoughts on small talk? I know it can be helpful in a way but seems meaningless in other ways.
OK bye now

Just thought I may read some of this thread again.
And also over the last few years, I have been practicing small talk. I would not say I was super good at it, but I have noticed the affects of it
Tonight, after coming out of the supermarket, I made a verbal remark to the lady walking in front of me. I did not even think about it. I just said it's freezing tonight isn't it and I was actually feeling quite cold. She replied back to me, then I said something else. Anyway I felt sort of a connection to her. She is a stranger though. Maybe I felt less lonely.
I really noticed that I was speaking out tonight especially
