Hi everyone
I find the mornings the hardest, I wake up feeling sick or thinking over stuff. It makes it hard to start the day. I feel sad.

Hi Clarissa,
What is it about the mornings that make you feel this way? Is there a particular aspect of your day that feels stressful?
I used to feel this way but in the evenings, I would almost mourn the fact that the day had been done and felt very overwhelmed by what was in store for me the coming day..

Hi Clarissa,
I too suffer really bad in the mornings but also in the evenings. These are my quiet child free times so a lot of time to start thinking of all sorts of illnesses and symptoms I have.
What helps me is not staying in bed. Get up as soon as you wake up. Get busy. I unpack the dishwasher, put a load of washing on, get myself ready, have a shower, basically anything that will distract my mind.
Im still struggling but that definitely seems to help x

I'm sorry to hear that Clarissa26. I've spoken to people I know with anxiety in the past and we've all said similar things, mornings are the hardest. Some days I find it hard to get going but I find it helps if there are some things planned during the day like going shopping, going for a coffee with friends, it helps.
For some weird reason after lunch time I improve and then its okay.
Do you sleep well? I've found going to bed too late or getting up too quickly can cause me problems. Hope you feel better soon.
