Does anyone else get anxiety around taking medication?

I have massive fear atm it really sucks.

Having a hard time taking my nighttime medication

Hi Apricit 123,

I’m sorry you are feeling this way I understand it would be difficult.

I remember when I was going through severe anxiety the fear thoughts were there but I still took my medication.

Are you aware of the thoughts that are causing you anxiety?

Maybe you could learn how to challenge these thoughts?

Hello Apricit@@, does your doctor believe that you can change the time before you take it.

Having anxiety about medication may always be a fear, until you take it and feel the benefits from it.

You could always ask your doctor if you can halve the medication to begin with.

I understand your situation as I was just as scared when I started taking my night time meds for my anxiety too

Your doc probably wants you to take the meds before bed as they will provide you with a better quality sleep which then helps you heal even more effectively

Taking meds before bed is very common Apricit@@123. I started doing so in 1996 and they helped me so much

Yeah I think ita because I'm having flashbacks also .

And I been having them for a month now so its escalating fears around medication its makes no logical sense really

Ok I’m sorry you are experiencing flash backs…….. have you spoken to a psychologist in regards to how you can deal with these?

When you see medication do you feel compelled to do something?

Yes I can not take medications I infact don't take even take pain killers
