Does anyone else go through acid reflux, burping just general stomach stuff with their anxiety, i have had blood tests, ultrasound, seen a gastrointestinal specialist and she just said to diaphragm breathe, i think because i dont know anyone personally going through this it really triggers my health anxiety.

Hi ScottOdes,
I'm not a professional but I had similar experience before. I had acid reflux and it triggered by health anxiety. Combined with other digestive problems and symptoms, my GP arranged Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy for me, saying that it's the most accurate check to identify the issue. Have you discussed with your doctor about doing endoscopy?
Nothing was found in my endoscopy check. And then my GP analyzed my eating habits, including what/when/how much do I eat, and provided some guidance and it works! She especially told me that I should stop eating anything 3 hours before going to bed to avoid acid reflux during the night. It helped a lot.
Hope it helps you a bit too.

Hello ScottOdes, I had severe acid reflux and eventually my Gp put me on some tablets which I take everyday and this has fixed the problem.
Knowing that you are suffering from this would create anxiety because every time you eat you have that fear of what may happen.
Ask your doctor, they would know what medication to give you and perhaps they may try the weakest first and then progress to the strongest, which I'm taking.
