Hi, everyone. I am 28 y.o. Lately i've been going through anxiety and panic attacks. They come out of nowhere for no particular reason. I don't seem to relax anymore. constantly concentrating on my physical symptoms and feeling that i am going to die. Been to the doctor and done all sorts of blood tests all turned out good. I work in aged care for 8 years but decided to quit as it makes my anxiety worse. Can't see sick and dying people anymore. I get thoughts that i am going mad sometimes. As if my mind totally deattaches from reality. I've never been like this before. I always used ro be very happy, easygoing girl. Now i feel like that person is dead and I am like robot. Everyday is the same to me i get stuck in anxiety, fear of death or going crazy. Doc put me on mediciation which i've been taking for 3.5 weeks. Also i've been to psychologist. Does anyone feel the same? How can get back to my happy self?

Hi, physical symptoms is fatigue, aching muscles, indigestion. I don't eat like i used to. I go for a long time without food and then throw something in just to get rid of hunger. I know it not right but just can't get motivated. Medication seems to get my anxiety down. Now it comes in small waves and goes. But it's still there it just doesn't want to leave me alone.

Sorry there was another reply before that one but it must be still waiting for approval. I suffer from it too which has now caused depression and I find most days a struggle. I'm hoping when I start the meds and a few more health nurse appointments I see some light at the end of the tunnel

what's your story? i've been living with this for couple years and never believed in antidepressants. Doc basically convinced me to take them. i took few other brands but had reactions so ended up in hospital few times. This one i am on now sort of keeps my anxiety on low levels but sometimes i still get big episodes but they don't last long. Now i am struggling to get motivated and start doing things i like. Just can't be bothered all the time.

I started suffering panic attacks 3 months ago and anxiety. Had lots of tests done came back clear but still thought anxiety wasn't capable of so many physical symptoms so now I have health anxiety and ocd. It makes me really depressed and I have two young kids but I have trouble doing normal things I can't be bothered doing anything either. Tried one lot of anti depressants but had too many side effects so about to try a new lot tomorrow. I don't know where all this came from I was always a bit of a worrier but never to this point
