Hi,

I'm a new uni student currently studying nursing. im worried and stressed that im not going to be able to pass the first semester as I don't feel comfortable that im smart enough for this. Everything seems so new to me all though im fairly familiar with the topics. I don't have much of a social life and I really do try my best to study well but I feel like I don't process information well enough. on top of that, I have an exam in a couple of weeks which im extremely scared for because what if I don't pass? I'm just lost and so unsure what to do, I don't even want to think about the future. but this degree means so much to me I've always wanted to do nursing.

Hi.

I have the same problem with retaining information.

On youtube I stumbled upon video's of how to train your brain for study.

Have a look yourself as there are many uni people teaching these skills.

I had a look at some a year ago and I like their technique.

One in particular couldnt understand why she keeps forgetting material she had read only the night before.

Please go to youtube and type in something like " How to remember what Ive just studied "  or words to that effect.

Nurses are great and among my hero's of this world.
